Big wheels tyres...

Have you noticed that upgraded wheels and tyres are v.expensive? I have been looking at ATV tyres with a view to putting them on my rims. Has anyone else got any good ideas or experiences in using different wheels and tyres?? The buggys I would be wanting to put them on would be a Peter Lynn and a Libre.

I haven't investigated it, but I've heard you can get good cheap tires if you buy wheel barrel tires.

they get a bit 'cruchy' after a while but they're very replaceable (read: disposable) at $14 apiece.

I've been looking real close at the 18 x 9.5 x 8' tires at this site...

I'm pretty sure they'll fit the PL plastic rims, but the price of a wider 'Big Foot' front fork is what is killing the deal for me. One site I found lists the fork for $150. Ouch!
