How To Make A Diamond Kite In 35 Minutes

I never thought that a two year old could fly a Kite - but I just saw a video to prove me wrong!

The little tot running along happily in front of the kite is Tim Parish’s son.
You can find instructions for making this tiny Tot Diamond kite on his blog and web site.

His wife May, who is not a kite person, got through the instructions in 35 minutes (her instructions were for a diamond kite not a tiny tot diamond kite) the point being, Tims instructions seem to be very clear, including photographs, so don’t be shy now… go for it!

The Benefits Of Kite Flying

happy kids flying kites

Kite flying has more benefits than most of us think of.

Kite flyer’s will tell you that flying kites will regenerate energy and has a way of reducing stress and tension of everyday life.

Kite flying develops creative thinking, both in the making of the kite as well as flying and adapting it.

Another less known benefit of kite flying is the development of concentration.

Kite flying is one of the only recreational activities that is both low budget as well as safe and environmentally friendly.

Dr Devinder Pal Singh Sehgal has a lot of other theories about the benefits of Kite flying that go way beyond plain clean fun, he thinks we should all fly a kite at least once a week.

Kite History Quiz. How Do You Measure Up?

if the answer for that is so so , or on the other hand - complete failure, then maybe you should visit one of my favorite kite sites - Best Breezes has a new addition to their extensive and well researched kite history page- there will be a kite history fact pop up for every new visit on that page.

sounds both fun and informing to me - as I said before - definitely worth a visit!
