I have been asked to give a demonstration night kite flying. Because I only have one fellow kite flyers I can use, I was thinking about two-liners instead of one-liners. This way there will still be some spectacle left.

But I don't have experience with putting extra mass on two-liners. Because I don't have any clue about the wind (the frustration of every kiter), I am thinking of bringing and preparing enough kites.

Stack (= 3) SpeedWing Pro Stack (= 2) SpeedWing SuperPro because light on a stack should be extra nice. NPW (8m2) because it will lift a camel with hardly any wind Gladiator (Sunny Kites) because if there is some wind, it is very fast and turns like nothing else. And for the better and spectacular tricks a Voodoo (Sunny Kites/ Progressive lines), Jam Session (classic, HQ), or Stranger (Flexifoil).

All information about what (led, batteries), how much (mass), were (spreader, leading edge) is useful and will bring you ever lasting gratitude.

Thanks from, Hans de Jong The Netherlands

i dont have alot of experience putting lights on kites but have done it several times on 2 line kites. my light set is a commercially made set that they sell in the states under the name of 'fly by night' they run on a 9 volt battery and attach to the leading edge of the kite. the kite appears as an arrow in the night sky. the battery is attached to the back of the kite onto the spine just above the bottom spreader. very close to a point where the battery will be in the center of where the kite will turn. hope that helps
