I've been traction kiting for quite some time now and I've figured out that there's a point when I won't put a traction kite in the air...too windy. I was wondering what a good stunt kite would be to play with in those kind of winds. 30 MPH +

that';s a wonderful time to play with one of 2 of my favorite kites, either the mouse kite, with the PS/2 or serial line, or the TV Remote kite, which amazingly enough doesn't use any line at all, yet functions perfectly!

Hi, Try the Janus 1.9 from Advance, or simply use a old Quadrifoil Classic 2.

*Wuss*!

There is no such thing as too much wind.

(although there are some fields that are too small...)

Try using short lines.

Try using *no* lines.

In those high and often gusty winds, I use my standard Modulus, in a something like 2 m2 configuration (or less): time to appreciate that it is a kite with no spare to break, that it it is not an elliptic fast, dangerous, high pressure foil, and that I can modulate exactly the surface I need. And with lines not under 20 meters, for having time to see and control what the kite do...
