Parafoil Newbie question

Hi Powerkiters,

i was wondering how to launch a parafoil when you're all alone.

Any suggestions ?

what kind of kite : 2 or 4 lines ? regards

This is a single line parafoil?

In light wind, just let out a decent amount of line, anchor it, inflate, an off you go...

In stronger wind, launch on a short line, with the line wound round a carabina, then let the line out under control. If you do a long line launch in strong wind, you stand a good chance of ripping the kite apart.
