Do I get one of these kites? I've heard all good about them, is there anything I should consider before shelling out the cash?

It's one of the best (so called) zero-wind kites out there. Well worth the money. You can go out and fly *anytime* with this kite. Many midwest competitors have one in thier bag for 'fly-or-die' situations. I recommend a 50# line set (80-100 ft.) And don't fly it in winds above 8mph. Have fun!

-Mark Kunoff (Note: I am sponsored by Skyburner - Thanks, Marieanne & Jon Trennepohl! Next year, Skyburner Kites is putting out a new kite called the 'Heat.' Vendors, watch for it at KTA. It could be one of the best 'all around' kites ever produced as it does many tricks very well AND can track great lines and corners. Mike Delfar and I were heavily involved in it's testing and provided input for successive revisions of the design. Granted, my opinion is biased, but you can read Jamey Fountain's unbiased post from a few days ago when he tried it in Galveston.

A classic SUL, *VERY* gracefull/elegant in the conventional flight modes.

Beautiful on long, (75-120 foot) lines in next to no winds...

If you're looking for trick abilities beyond axels though, you might want to shop around. This kite excels at precision on memories of wind.

Hope that helps.

Gotta fly!
