Wow was I wrong! (and I can admit it, atleast once in a while.) I only really buggy at the park near my house, don't usually fly stunt kites as I like my wind a bit on the steady side and the park gets some very turbulent winds. I had recently commented on how I didn't think anyone would ever need a bigger blade than a 3.3 (from my experience.) Well I finally got that thing out to the actual beach this weekend and was way under powered in a 10 mph. At the park, I guess the wind sheer is a lot worse than I thought it was because I get dragged around like a dead rat there with it, but at the beach it was almost silly to try and buggy with this thing. All I can say is I hope the wind is blowin like hell when I get to the Dead Bird Buggy week in Galveston, either that or Santa better visit early this year!!!

I love the 3.3 too.we tried body dragging and surfing at the weekend.Body dragging slightly more successful. We were using a converted surfboard and I managed about 20ft standing up before I wiped out.I was also very pleasedthat the kite didnt get a dunking tho Im sure that will come....hopefully not b4 I get enuff cash for a Wipika.Something else I found cool was 'surfing ' around on the sands barefoot.it was my first (of many)times at the beach with my kite even tho Ive been buggying for 6 months now and live in Scarborough on the coast.DOH Any how enuff rambling See ya Rob
