I've found a few comments on stacking the Prism Stylus 2.8 and 1.8 recently.

I'm looking at adding another foil(s) to my collection and would greatly appreciate any comments from flyers who have had expirience with the Stylus, and in particular with stacking them!

Any and all comments and wisdon would be greatly appreciated as I am unable to 'fly before I buy' and need to rely solely on the feedback I get from all you guy's and gal's...

Thanks heaps, Wayne

Before you buy.

had best results by connecting bridle of 2.8 directly to tabs on back of 1.8 really slows it down. two 1.8s are fine but 1.8 & 2.8 not worth the bother.

I on the other hand prefer stacking the 1.8 & 2.8 together. I feel they fly much more stable and look really cool. With two matching kites the pilot can't really see the kites above the bottom one in the stack. When we stacked the 2.8 with the 1.8 underneath, the pilot could enjoy both kites, the pull increased substantally as you could guess - and we had a ball. The only way I stack them since trying this configuration is always a 1.8 with 2.8. They will fly a bit slower since the 2.8 is a larger kite than the 1.8, but I don't fly them for speed... I fly them for pull and the slower movement allows me to keep them in the power zone of the wind window longer as I'm skiing down the beach
