TV Show/Mother's day event

Hi all. I've got to be honest, I am not a big kite flyer-haven't done it since I was a little girl, but every time I see someone in a park "in the zone" with a bright flyer high in the air, I always stop and watch for a bit-brings up good memories I guess.

I wanted to extend an inviataion to anyone wanting to get outside again after a long winter. I work for a travelling BBQ show which airs nationally on The Food Network in May, and on May 11, 2008, our show will be at Brewer Park, off Bronson, filming a Mother's Day episode.

There will be midway games for the kids, potato sac races, tug-a-war...etc...and I thought having some kite flyers in the background would look just awesome. Anyone interested in coming down that day please respond to this, and I'll give you more details...we are inviting differnt groups, so if you would also like to be part of our audience, let me know ahead of time so I can get you entered in the prize giveaways.

Kite flying is great. Unfortunately I am not from that area so I won't be coming. I am sure you are all preplanned as to exactly what you are going to have going on that day - but if you're not totally squared away yet - why don't you get the kids kite flying - it doesn't have to be very fancy or complicated - just your very basic kites... that could be very fun
