Funny you should mention the Q2004.... The other day here in the middle of minnesota the winds were funky... my 3.5 Gamma was 'just right' in the gusts lasting several minutes, but couldn't do much in the lulls.. my Quadrafoil XL was overpowering me (in a Libra buggy no less!) in the gusts, but Still couldn't do much in the lulls.... Frustrated, I took out my Q2004 anniversary edition, and found that the power was enough in the gusts, but it was also more effective in the lulls than the higher performance foils I regularly fly...(I think it's overall weight is lower, and also develops power at a lower speed) Ahhhh, Lessons learned... There is a lot to be said about having some lower performance foils handy for those 'funky' wind days... Have fun out there, and don't let me read about it in the paper.....
